national recognition for oceon
global oceon engineers
limited (oceon) has been
singled out for ministerial praise
following a tour of its lagos
facilities by nigerian minister
of state for energy (gas),
emmanuel odusina.
mr odusina highlighted
oceon's pioneering work in
developing local manpower
in the highly technical area
of subsea engineering and
design in the oil and gas
industry.
He described oceon
as strategically important in helping
the nigerian government achieve its
local content objectives of developing
engineering design in the oil sector.
"oceon is a frontline engineering
company, one of the most important
engineering design companies in
nigeria," he said.
while showing the minister
around the company's facilities,
mr seun Faluyi, managing director,
pointed out that oceon has worked
hard to overcome initial scepticism
concerning their capabilities and is now
reaping the benefits of successfully
delivering subsea services on a
range of international projects
and competing favourably in the
international subsea arena.

services from definition through to
