WEDDING CAKES & DESSERTS
One of the best parts of any
wedding
is definitely the cake. The
wedding cake
is an important part of the reception
and symbolizes so much more than just a tasty dessert.
Although you may think it is just a cake your wedding cake will, in fact, be the center piece of your wedding
reception. The eyes of all your guests will automatically rivet to the layers of cream, frosting and sugar with which
you will cap the evening by cutting for all to share. So, when you are choosing your wedding cake, you have to make
sure that it not only matches the style and theme of your wedding and reception, but that it is a proper reflection of
you as a couple.
DIFFERENT CAKE FLAVORS
· Kahlua Mocha- dark liqueur cake with coffee,
vanilla and chocolate liqueur and topped with fudge
icing
· Mexican Chocolate Cake- moist and enhanced with
three types of chocolate and a bit of cinnamon with
a smooth milk-chocolate frosting
· Red Velvet Cake- traditional Southern chocolate-
red cake with cream cheese frosting
· Texas Turtle- devil's food cake with nuts and
caramel filling and fudge frosting
· Princess Cake- moist, creamy white cake topped
with cream cheese frosting (traditional choice)
· Orange Marmalade and Lemon Cake- tangy lemon
cake made using bitter English orange marmalade
and lemon zest with a lemon butter sauce poured
over the cake after baking and iced with cream
cheese frosting
· Fresh Strawberry Cake- chopped strawberries
folded in a white cake batter topped with rich cream
cheese frosting.
CHOCOLATE FOUNTAINS
The best thing about chocolate fountains is that they
provide a bit of grandeur to your buffet table. The
flowing chocolate is just a sight to see. It's not only
attractive, but mouth-watering as well. I guess
there's just something about chocolate flowing on a
fountain that people find attractive.
DESSERT BAR
The Dessert Bar has an assortment of different
desserts: salads, mousses, crème's, pastries, etc. Just
looking at it from afar is already mouth-watering.
Unlike the chocolate fountain, your guests need not
crowd around it. All they'll have to do is grab the
dessert that they like.
CREPE BAR
The Crepe Bar is a dessert alternative that features
different crepes. It's kind of like the Dessert Bar,
only this one has crepes instead of cupped desserts.
Your guests can choose from a variety of fruits and
sauces, and the attendant will prepare it for them.
