look up your belts in your owners manual or read
the size off the belt. Order by size - Alternator

Wiper blades
are an item anyone can
replace. The PartsPlace carries Bosch, micro Edge II blades
which are the best we've found and original equipment on
many European cars. Until recently, Bosch blades were avail-
able only as complete assemblies (ie., no refills were available)
but the Micro Edge II is refillable at approximately 60% of the
price of a new blade. The Bosch blade is clearly superior in
fighting smearing, streaking, chatter, lift off and rubber fatigue.
It's a great blade. The blade assemblies are sold individually
while the refills are sold by the pair. Order by number below.

those with NR after the number can be "REFILLED" with new
rubber blades. They just slip in. Refills are sold by the pair and
are 20" long which you cut with a knife or razor to length.

Most of the modern VW's now
use single belts to power multiple
accessories under the hood. The
power steering pump, the alterna-
tor, the A/C compressor, the water
pump etc. all drive off a single belt
that weaves between them. That is
where the term "Serpentine" has
come from. Inspect yours, if it's
cracked or worn, don't get your-
